How many workouts should I do per week?
The ideal training schedule depends on your goals, experience level, and availability. For most players, 2–4 structured training sessions per week combined with individual practice will produce excellent results. Elite and professional athletes often train multiple times per day during the offseason, while younger players should focus on consistent, high-quality repetitions rather than simply increasing volume.

What age should I start playing basketball?

The best time to begin basketball training is when a player is excited to learn and ready to develop proper fundamentals. I work with athletes of all skill levels, with most clients ranging from middle school and high school players to collegiate and professional athletes. Starting early helps build confidence, coordination, and good habits that will benefit players throughout their basketball journey.
Should I choose individual or group workouts?
Both have tremendous value, and I recommend incorporating a combination of each.
Private training allows us to focus on individual skill development, correct weaknesses, and accelerate improvement through personalized instruction. Group workouts provide a competitive environment where players apply their skills at game speed while learning to compete against others.
Together, they create the most effective path for long-term player development.
Why choose basketball over other sports?
Basketball is one of the best sports for developing well-rounded athletes. It improves speed, agility, coordination, balance, body control, communication, decision-making, spatial awareness, leadership, and mental toughness. The lessons learned on the court often translate into success both in sports and in everyday life.
Are private or group workouts appropriate for beginners?
Absolutely. Every athlete starts somewhere.
Training is customized to each player's current ability and experience. Beginners focus on learning proper fundamentals and building confidence, while more advanced players work on refining the skills needed to compete at higher levels. Every player progresses at their own pace.
What training schedule would you recommend for a beginner?
Most beginners benefit from attending 2–3 training sessions each week while practicing independently whenever possible. Consistency is far more important than occasional long workouts. A structured routine helps players build confidence, develop proper habits, and improve more quickly.
What days and times are training sessions available?
Training sessions are available seven days a week with flexible scheduling to accommodate school, work, and family commitments.

What qualities do you look for in a basketball player?
Talent is never the most important quality.
I value athletes who demonstrate a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, coachability, discipline, and a genuine desire to improve. Players who consistently show up ready to learn and compete are the ones who experience the greatest long-term success.
What do you focus on during training sessions?
